You Are What You Wear

Dress: Forever 21 (Only $12.99)
Shoes: Chinese Laundry Similar Here
Coat: Dolce & Gabbana (vintage)
Bag: Louis Vuitton (vintage)

Happy Friday lovers ! I usually tend to shy away from text-printed attire, but I have to say, I certainly agree with this turtle neck dress that reads "You Are What You Wear". Some days I don't feel like getting dressed, but I make sure I always put in the effort, because if you look good, you feel good! In addition to that, I always say you never know who you are going to meet! I completed my look by throwing on this amazing vintage Dolce & Gabbana over sized jacket that can basically go with anything. Have a great weekend guys. Xxx

So one of my dear good friends recently launched her clothing line (which I am in love with) and I  got a chance to be gifted with one of her insanely dope bomber jackets. This olive green bomber jacket is perfect for any occasion and can go with almost anything. I paired mine with this midi black dress from Forever 21and these block heels by Sam Edelman from Ross. My friend Chidera Agude and CEO at Fashion for Mankind (F4M) has worked insanely hard on her range of clothing which incorporates Nigerian culture into her brands. There are so much more options and you can shop her line HERE. Thanks for reading and remember to keep it cheap and chic. Xxx

Wedding Attire- Iro & Buba

I recently attended a Nigerian Wedding this past sunday and I decided it was time that my Iro & Buba make its grand debut. I've actually had this for many months now, but I was quite unsure of where to wear it to, so when this wedding came up, I thought hey, why not? I wasn't planning on blogging this outfit because of the poor photo quality :( (my apologies) but I received so many compliments and inquiries about it so I thought I would share. I know some of you may be wondering what is "i-rooo and bu-baa" ? It is simply a blouse and a wrap around skirt, that can be worn many ways, including as a halter dress (maybe if you dare be as bold as I am). It doesn't necessarily have to be worn as a pair, it can be interchanged and mixed with other pieces. Mine was a gift, but fear not you can shop cheap similar items here:

Iro & Buba (Similar)
Shoes (Kendall& Kylie for Steve Madden)
Clutch- Vintage (Similar)
Necklace- Forever 21- Old

Remember lovers. Keep it cheap and chic as always. Xxx

'Top' it Off with Neutrals

Happy Monday Lovers
It's the beginning of a new week, so you know what that means! You've got to face the new week head on like a boss, and that means dressing like one! If you know me, you'll know I love brown and all things neutral. I embraced all the neutrals and added some spice to it by 'topping' it off with this Fedora, besides the fact my head is too large for it LOL. Incorporate your personal style into different looks and try out new things. Xxx

Cheetah Print on Cheetah Print

Prints will always be the love of my life. There's something about prints that are loud, but yet subtle at the same time; something of a bit of an oxymoron. When I saw these Sam Edelman Shoes, I was totally smitten. When I saw the price, my heart was beating rapidly and it had been undoubtedly stolen. There's a love and hate relationship that I have with Burlington coat factory. There is something smoldering and excessive about it, but the sales are steals and always keep me coming back. This look is casual for me, with prints wriiten all over it. Don't be afraid to become a print lover, it's sure to bring out your wild side. Xxx
