And last but not least, yours truly : )

Ankara Fest was in full swing this past weekend. The event ran from Friday Sept 11-Saturday Sept 12. The fashion, music and performances were memorable and it brought all cultures from different countries of Africa together. The designers showcased their lines and all were exceptional. Ankara Fest has been a yearly event for the past few years and I have attended quite a few and I have always enjoyed it and this weekend was no different. I can't wait for next year, but in the meantime you can check out their website here Ankara Festival  Xxx.

Wedding Attire- Iro & Buba

I recently attended a Nigerian Wedding this past sunday and I decided it was time that my Iro & Buba make its grand debut. I've actually had this for many months now, but I was quite unsure of where to wear it to, so when this wedding came up, I thought hey, why not? I wasn't planning on blogging this outfit because of the poor photo quality :( (my apologies) but I received so many compliments and inquiries about it so I thought I would share. I know some of you may be wondering what is "i-rooo and bu-baa" ? It is simply a blouse and a wrap around skirt, that can be worn many ways, including as a halter dress (maybe if you dare be as bold as I am). It doesn't necessarily have to be worn as a pair, it can be interchanged and mixed with other pieces. Mine was a gift, but fear not you can shop cheap similar items here:

Iro & Buba (Similar)
Shoes (Kendall& Kylie for Steve Madden)
Clutch- Vintage (Similar)
Necklace- Forever 21- Old

Remember lovers. Keep it cheap and chic as always. Xxx
