You Are What You Wear

Dress: Forever 21 (Only $12.99)
Shoes: Chinese Laundry Similar Here
Coat: Dolce & Gabbana (vintage)
Bag: Louis Vuitton (vintage)

Happy Friday lovers ! I usually tend to shy away from text-printed attire, but I have to say, I certainly agree with this turtle neck dress that reads "You Are What You Wear". Some days I don't feel like getting dressed, but I make sure I always put in the effort, because if you look good, you feel good! In addition to that, I always say you never know who you are going to meet! I completed my look by throwing on this amazing vintage Dolce & Gabbana over sized jacket that can basically go with anything. Have a great weekend guys. Xxx

Midi Black Dress // Olive Bomber Jacket

Dress: Forever 21
Bomber : Fashion 4 Mankind
Shoes: Circus by Sam Edelman only $10.99 from Ross

So one of my dear good friends recently launched her clothing line (which I am in love with) and I  got a chance to be gifted with one of her insanely dope bomber jackets. This olive green bomber jacket is perfect for any occasion and can go with almost anything. I paired mine with this midi black dress from Forever 21and these block heels by Sam Edelman from Ross. My friend Chidera Agude and CEO at Fashion for Mankind (F4M) has worked insanely hard on her range of clothing which incorporates Nigerian culture into her brands. There are so much more options and you can shop her line HERE. Thanks for reading and remember to keep it cheap and chic. Xxx

A Pop of Orange

Dress: Ross (Only $40) (Similar Here)
Shoes: Kendall and Kylie Madden Girl
Bag : Moschino (Similar Here)

Happy Monday guys, a new week has been bestowed upon us and I am ever so grateful. It certainly has been a while, but here's a pop of orange to brighten up these past gloomy days. I walked into a Ross with hopes of returning an item, but the life of a shopaholic prevents me from walking out without a new purchase :). I walked into a Westwood Ross and perused through the dress section and as you can imagine, this number caught my eye. At first I thought it was a crop top and skirt, but a closer glance revealed it was a dress. Not only did the colour catch my eye, but the price as well, because I love a good bargain. I tried it on and it fit. I just wanted to share this number with you to brighten up your day, especially your week. Have a lovely week guys and stay tuned for more posts. Xxx

Salsa Queen

Hi Lovers, I went a little simple for my look this time. I dusted off the cobwebs on this salsa style shirt I've had in my archives. I then paired it with a pair of old 7 for All Mankind Jeans. I threw on my white Zara bucket bag and some platform wedges for elevation as I am lacking in the height department lol. It's funny how you don't need to go shopping for new items to make an outfit work for you. Take a peek in your closet, you never know what you are going to find. Have a great week ahead. Xxx

My Adidas

It's Friday lovers and I finally get to share with you my overdue post about my classic Adidas. I scored these babies for $25 at a Pasadena Flea Market at the Rose Bowl. They hold this event on the second Sunday of every month. General admission is $8 and I typically like to go early so I can find more great deals. The options are endless and I have scored some vintage designer items as well (another post to come :)). I decided to go casual for this look and go a different direction with my shoot and do it at night. I paired it with my oversized Top shop coat and H&M white tank top and white capris.
